A world of data.

In the map explorer, enter a place name and press Search or Enter, then choose a result to center the map. Place results focus on Morocco. For coordinates, enter latitude first, then longitude in decimal degrees, for example 33.89, -5.55. Use a minus sign for west longitudes. Clear location search removes the search marker. To read a dataset value at that location, select Inspect point and click the map.

Try a nearby town or enter latitude, longitude directly. Coordinate entry works without the place search service, although loading the map and datasets still needs a connection. A search marker locates a place; it does not guarantee that the selected dataset has coverage there.

The current map explorer allows downloads without an account. Registration is not yet available. A future update will require an account for downloads, as explained in the Privacy notice.

The .tif download contains the selected dataset cropped to your polygon, with its geographic reference and raster values. It does not include the basemap or other datasets. Open it in GIS software that supports GeoTIFF. The file uses the source raster's coordinate system and cell size; zooming in on the map does not increase its resolution.

Open Publications and search by title, author, journal, theme, year, or DOI. Combine theme and year filters to narrow the list. If no results appear, clear the search and filters. Publication links open the publisher or DOI page, where access to the full text depends on that provider.

Categories and pages marked Coming soon are not available yet. Use the datasets currently listed in the map catalog; planned categories do not yet provide downloadable layers.

Use the Contact form and wait for the confirmation message. If delivery fails, email [email protected] directly. Include the page or dataset name and any error message, and check your spam or junk folder when waiting for a reply.

The location may be outside the selected dataset’s coverage or within a cell with no recorded value. Try another location or choose a different dataset. No data does not mean a value of zero.

You need a validated polygon before downloading. Place at least three points and double-click at the last point to finish. The button is also temporarily unavailable while a download is being prepared.

Click the polygon tool again to clear the previous outline and start a new selection. While drawing, you can also press Escape to cancel.

Units describe the quantity represented by the dataset’s values. Spatial resolution describes the size of the ground area represented by a raster cell. Check the dataset information panel for the units and resolution of your selected layer.

No. Basemaps provide geographic context. Switching styles keeps your selected dataset, map position, and drawn area.

Check your connection and confirm that your selected area overlaps the dataset’s coverage, then try again. If the problem continues, contact us with the dataset name, the selected location, and any error message you see.

Click View related publication in the dataset information panel to find the associated scientific publication. Cite that publication and acknowledge Morocco GeoHub in your research, reports, presentations, or other work.
